International Exchange Programs



Current CUP students take listening, reading, writing, and speaking classes on campus to enhance their language abilities and prepare for overseas employment. Those who complete the GEP program acquire qualifications to apply for ASEACCU (Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities) Conference held every August.

Credit recognition
  • Credit has been recognized since the second year of the program (2015 spring semester)
  • Credits for a maximum of 4 out of 6 classes (Global Leader English Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ, and Ⅵ) recognized
  • We recognize credits for Global Leader English Ⅰ if you get 700 points or higher on a 990-point scale on the program performance test, for Ⅱ with 750 points or higher; for Ⅲ with 800 points or higher; for Ⅳ with 850 points or higher; for Ⅴ with 900 points or higher; and for Ⅵ with 950 points or higher
  • According to the results of the performance test we recognize a maximum of two classes a year. (For example, if the student gets 800 points we recognize credits for either Ⅲ and Ⅱ, or Ⅲ and Ⅰ)
  • Credit recognition: maximum of 4 credits (free course credits)
  • Scholarship for honor students
  • Support honor students with their overseas activities (support participation in ASEACCU to be held in Indonesia this year)

Global Elite Program(GEP)

  • This program from March to December consists of at least 6,000 hours covering listening, reading, writing, and speaking based on IELTS
  • We designate appropriate classes for students based on placement test results and offer credit recognition and scholarships for those getting high scores on a performance test
  • Textbook: Cambridge IELTS 7
